General Terms and Conditions (GTC) – Seazen GmbH

Version of 27 April 2026

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern all subscriptions, purchases, Travel Talks and special events of Seazen GmbH (hereinafter “Seazen”). By completing a purchase, booking or event registration, you accept the following provisions.

2. Subscriptions and term

Subscriptions of Seazen GmbH are available either as one-year or two-year subscriptions and include four issues per year. Payment is made in advance for the entire term. Pro-rata refunds in the event of early cancellation are excluded.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the originally selected term, unless cancelled or paused in good time. The term and subscription type can be adjusted at any time in the personal profile account.

3. Cancellation and pausing

Cancellation or pausing can be done at any time through the personal profile account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term. When paused, the subscription is suspended until reactivation; already paid issues are not forfeited.

4. Scope of delivery

Subscribers receive four issues per year, beginning with the current or next available edition. Delivery takes place within Switzerland and the European Union.

5. Shipping and delivery

The magazines are delivered by post. Seazen GmbH assumes no liability for delays or delivery problems caused by postal service providers. Changes to the delivery address must be updated in the profile no later than 14 days before dispatch.

6. Travel Talks – tickets, early bird and programme

Travel Talks are the magazine-accompanying events of Seazen GmbH. The number of attendees per Travel Talk is limited to a maximum of 120 persons.

Early-bird tickets are available in limited numbers and grant a 20% discount on the regular ticket price. They are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

In the event of cancellation or postponement, tickets retain their validity or can be refunded upon request. The publisher reserves the right to make content-related and organisational changes to the programme.

7. Special events and partner events

In addition to the Travel Talks, Seazen organises or curates special events, in particular partner events with brands, publishers, galleries, hotels, destinations or venues. The following provisions apply additionally:

7.1. Invitation and participation. Participation is by personal invitation. The invitation is personal and non-transferable. An accompanying person (+1) is only permitted if explicitly provided for at the time of registration; in this case, the full registration details must also be provided for the accompanying person.

7.2. Registration and cancellation. Registration is made via the respective event form by the indicated registration deadline. Spaces are generally limited. A cancellation must be made without delay as soon as non-attendance becomes foreseeable, so that the place can be allocated to those on the waiting list.

7.3. Minimum age and identification. Where a minimum age (generally 18 years) applies to an event, the guest and any accompanying persons identify themselves at the entrance with an official identification document.

7.4. Admission and house rules. Admission times are announced in the event programme. After the doors close, no further admission is possible. The house rules of the respective venue apply.

7.5. Sharing of data with event partners. For special events, registration details are shared with the respective event partners, provided the guest has consented at the time of registration. The data may be used for the delivery of the event and – if consented – for invitations to future events and campaigns of the respective partners. The retention period is 5 years, unless earlier deletion is requested.

7.6. Photo and video recordings. At special events, photo and video recordings are generally taken and published in the channels of Seazen and the event partners. By registering, the guest consents to this. Anyone who does not wish to be photographed or filmed should inform the photographer and the event team on site.

7.7. Allergies, catering, conduct. Where catering is provided, it is the guest’s responsibility to inform themselves on site about ingredients and any allergens. During talks and concerts, mobile phones must be set to silent. Audio or video recordings during live performances are not permitted unless expressly approved.

7.8. Exclusion from the event. Seazen and the host reserve the right to refuse admission or to remove from the event any person without a valid registration, without proof of identity, or who breaches the house rules.

8. Data protection

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Seazen GmbH, available at https://seazentravel.com/en/privacy-policy/. The Privacy Policy forms part of these GTC.

In particular, we point out that:

  • Registration data for special events is shared with the respective event partners, provided the guest has consented;
  • Photo and video recordings may be made at events (see Section 7.6);
  • Registration data for special events is retained for 5 years.

9. Disclaimer

Seazen GmbH assumes no liability for the content, services or offers of external partners, venues or third parties. All information regarding travel, events and partners is provided without warranty. Participation in events takes place at the own risk of the participant.

10. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The place of jurisdiction is Wollerau, Switzerland, unless mandatory legal provisions require otherwise.
