5. Sharing of data with third parties

Personal data is shared exclusively:

  • With data processors (hosting, dispatch, payment service providers, newsletter tools, IT service providers) who are contractually bound to data protection obligations.
  • With event partners, where this is necessary for the delivery of the event and the guest has consented.

Some data processors are based outside Switzerland or the EEA (e.g. Google LLC in the USA, Stripe). Such transfers only take place where an adequate level of data protection is ensured – through an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

  • Newsletter data: until unsubscription.
  • Photo and video recordings from events: until a deletion request is made by the data subject.
  • Server log files: generally 30 days.

Deletion is carried out at any time upon request, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

At events organised by Seazen GmbH and at partner events, photo and video recordings may be made and subsequently published in the communication channels of Seazen GmbH and the respective event partners – social media, website, magazine, newsletter, press relations.

By registering, the guest consents in principle to the creation and publication of such recordings.
