Review: Seazen Travel Talks – Two worlds, one evening

A sold-out house, an excited audience and conversations that echoed for a long time: The latest edition of the Seazen Travel Talks on July 3 at the Genesis Studio on Bahnhofstrasse Zurich was a complete success. Under the motto “Croatia & Bhutan – two completely different worlds”, we took our guests on a journey from the sun-drenched coasts of Istria to the spiritual heights of the Himalayas.

Talk 1: Croatia – A country with character

Author and photographer Daniel Reichenbach whisked us away to authentic Istria – with its small wineries, hearty cuisine and the decelerated rhythm of everyday life. Together with Dr. Wolfgang Neuhuber and Nera Milicic from the Croatian National Tourist Board in Switzerland, the region came alive in an honest, in-depth conversation. An Istria away from the clichés – enjoyable, sustainable and full of personality.

Talk 2: Bhutan – Where happiness is a national goal

With Dr. Thomas Hauer and Bernhard Krieger, we travelled on to the Kingdom of Bhutan, accompanied by stories full of silence, spirituality and the search for meaning. Olivia Koch from Tourasia and Claudio Zingg from the Society Switzerland-Bhutan complemented the talk with current developments and exciting insights into the cultural bridge between Switzerland and the Himalayan state.

An evening full of images, encounters and thoughts – and proof that traveling does not end at airports, but begins at the core.
