The Seazen event was a complete success – sold out to the last seat and characterized by an atmosphere of lively discovery.

Under the motto “An evening full of adventure, culinary delights and inspiring stories”, our authors whisked us away to fascinating worlds: The mysterious paths of the Kumano Kodo in Japan and the untamed nature of Costa Rica were brought to life in an impressive way. Exclusive insights, fascinating images and exciting encounters made the evening an unforgettable experience.

Julia von Siebenthal took the audience on a journey along one of the oldest pilgrimage routes in the world. Her tales of mysterious temples, hot onsen and spiritual encounters, complemented by wolf myths and stories of hunger spirits and bear warnings, captivated the audience just as much as the majestic backdrop of the Nachi waterfall.

Lena Siep and photographer Justin Hession took us to the tropical wonderland of Costa Rica. They reported on encounters with nocturnal tarantulas, roaring monkeys and breathtaking whale watching. At the same time, they raised awareness of the fragile balance between mass tourism and nature conservation and gave personal insights into sustainable projects such as coffee cultivation off the beaten tourist track.

The evening was rounded off by special guests who shared valuable insider tips and in-depth specialist knowledge about both destinations.
