Since the middle of last year, the W Costa Navarino has enhanced the portfolio of 5-star luxury hotels on the southwestern tip of the Peloponnese with its unique philosophy. This marks the debut of the Marriott Bonvoy hotel brand, featuring an exceptional design hotel on a 13-hectare site in a secluded location directly on the Navarino waterfront. It completes the new premium destination on the Greek Mediterranean, joining the already established hotels „The Westin Resort“ and „The Romanos“, a Luxury Collection Resort.

W Escape with its own lifestyle

As soon as you enter the lobby, past the huge „W“, you get a sense of the vibe here: You can chill out to groovy music at the stylish bar, relax in comfy armchairs among books, or enjoy the terrace. The elaborate design by Greek architects immediately stands out, with paved paths, monolithic buildings, and stone gates made from authentic materials to evoke the feeling of a Greek coastal village. The timeless design is complemented by lush local greenery, and the planted roofs with views of the sea are especially striking.

The W Lounge offers international cuisine throughout the day, locally inspired drinks, and an inviting atmosphere in the evening with romantic lighting. The centerpiece, of course, is the oversized pool area, perfect for chilling out on daybeds or loungers, accompanied by a hipster music program. From here, there’s a seamless transition to the Platia, set up like a Greek market where you can enjoy breakfast or dinner in the evening.

The Platia is divided into several areas: a café, a deli store featuring regional specialties, a bakery with all kinds of baked goods, and a cookery with an open kitchen and pop-up concepts. „Between“ mainly serves cocktails and light appetizers but also offers fish, oysters, mussels, and premium caviar.

The Beach Club Parella also impresses with its unique concept, offering contemporary Greek-Mediterranean cuisine on shared platters, accompanied by unexpected cocktail creations. DJs mix genres from electro house to nu-jazz and fusion, with live music playing throughout the day.

The rooms and suites focus on local color, using natural materials such as reed, wood, stone, and leather, while mixing them with modern elements to create a relaxed rustic chic. Each living area has its own highlight: whether it’s the large pool in the Fabulous Swim Up room, the fantastic view in the Spectacular Panorama room, or the private outdoor terrace, private pool, and direct beach access in the WOW Beachfront Infinity Villas.

If you’re looking to stay active, you’ll find a state-of-the-art gym, a 25-meter pool, a great range of classes, and a large sun deck with an infinity pool. After your workout, the AWAY® Spa offers signature treatments for ultimate relaxation.

And that’s not all: this spring will see the opening of a dedicated marketplace, known from the villages as the „Navarino Agora.“ There will also be a new water sports hub and an additional 15 restaurants on the Costa Navarino. We can also look forward to the new Mandarin Oriental Hotel, which is set to open in the summer. Guests will be able to choose between four luxury hotels and four award-winning 18-hole golf courses, attracting players of all genres to the „World’s Best Emerging Golf Destination,“ recognized by the World Golf Awards 2022, from February 20.
