International star architects such as Matteo Thun and Snøhetta give the hotels in the Premium Collection and the Premium Living Apartments an unmistakable profile and a unique aesthetic. For Matteo Thun, each project has its own identity – the genius loci determines the style of the architecture. In this way, he pays tribute to the soul of the place where a building is erected.

With his Conscious Design, Matteo Thun is paving the way for a new, forward-looking interpretation of sustainability in architecture. Conscious Design aims to maximize the benefits for society while minimizing the impact on the environment. In line with this philosophy, the hotels in the Premium Collection and the Premium Living Apartments use fine, natural materials, timelessly elegant interior design, and spacious, light-flooded rooms to create a stylish ambience that turns every stay into a fond memory.

Fresh and regional: enjoyment at the highest level

Naturalness, regionality, and authenticity are the guiding principles of Stefan Leitner, who learned his culinary craft from the best. Together with Sebastian Postogna, F&B Director, he has developed a Mediterranean-Alpine cuisine line with an international twist for the Premium Collection, based on short, regional supply chains that promote local producers. Freshness and taste are the top priorities.

The Culinary Director also focuses on his team – for example, with a modern frontline cooking concept at numerous cooking stations, where fresh food is prepared in front of guests. This ensures careful handling of ingredients and helps to minimize waste. Young talents with excellent training and international backgrounds bring the right flavors to the table.

Falkensteiner’s cuisine is also shaped by collaborations. For some years, there has been a partnership with Mochi, the go-to address for sushi in Vienna, and the Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo. This summer, at the Falkensteiner Resort Punta Skala, Paul Ivic and his team from TIAN will once again showcase how delicious vegan-vegetarian gourmet cuisine can be – inspired by the sea and local ingredients from the Zadar region.

The harmonious integration into the natural surroundings and the conscious focus on resource-conserving operation make each individual location a unique feel-good place.

The Falkensteiner Hotel Montafon is considered a pioneering lighthouse project within the entire industry. Both the hotel complex and the staff house are heated and cooled using waste water from the neighboring hydroelectric power plant. In addition, a photovoltaic system is operated, and electricity is sourced from hydropower.

The Falkensteiner Hotel Montafon is also a partner of turn to zero and offsets its already low CO₂ footprint by investing in three sustainable projects as part of this initiative.

A very special service highlight awaits nature lovers in the Premium Collection hotels: a local Experience Concierge provides outdoor fans with insider tips on the most beautiful hiking routes or the perfect diving spot.
